Greenlane Holdings, a Nasdaq-listed company, holds about 81.3 million BERA and BERA-equivalent units in a token treasury that ended the second quarter valued roughly 77% below its cost basis.
According to Greenlane's quarterly filing, the treasury's cost basis stood at $70.2 million as of June 30, while its fair value at that date was $16.4 million — a 76.6% gap. The company describes this as a mark-to-market shortfall rather than a realized loss, since the tokens have not been sold.
CryptoSlate market data places the current Berachain (BERA) price at roughly $0.142. At that price, the same 81.3 million units would be worth about $11.6 million, an illustrative figure showing the position has continued to lose value since the June 30 filing date.
